Bringing the Noise to the Brighton Half

An extremely wet and windy Brighton Seafront awaited us early on Sunday morning as we supported the 30th edition of the Brighton Half Marathon sponsored by the Grand Hotel.

We were contracted by E3 Events to supply all audio systems for the race which included coverage of around 700metres of Madeira Drive around the start/finish line and race village, an additional audio system at the Albion Hotel and systems to support the Youth race events at Hove Lawns. (Unfortunately the Youth Race events were cancelled due to the weather conditions).

For the main system on Madeira Drive we used 14 of our 50w 100v music horns deployed at roughly 50metre intervals. These gave us excellent coverage over the area required, really holding their own despite the challenging wind conditions.
