Seaford Christmas Magic 2014

Seaford Town Council (STC) approached us to provide Technical and Event Support cover for a new all day event. ‘Seaford Christmas Magic’ was produced as an alternative to the annual late night shopping event which included the switch-on of the town centre christmas lights.

This being a completely new event SEL had been brought in very early in a consultancy role & had been working closely with the organisers during the planning phases to make sure that everything fitted into place. We were then contracted to assist STC with the initial setup, support & technical services.

Our Event Support team assisted with general cover across the event & assisted the organisers with intervention when required throughout the day. We provided all radio communications across the event run from the STC control room.

An additional team of Technical staff set up and ran our 6m x 4m temporary stage that had entertainment running thorough the day and provided a focal point for the main switch on of the Christmas lights.

As an extra to the main stage public address system we installed a 100v PA system that gave full coverage for announcements across the town. This system was greatly received by the organisers as it gave them the power to announce what was happening throughout the day, as well as linking both 100v & stage systems together for the switch on.
